About Buffy’s

Buffy’s is a book club hosting monthly events between London and New York, in private spaces in the best bars and restaurants in both cities.

Each discussion is hosted by Lizzy Hadfield who lives between both cities and wanted to create a space to discuss great literature and meet new people.

How does it work?

Each month we vote from five books, and the winner is announced right before the month begins (i.e May’s book will be announced at the end of April). Following that, the location of the bookclub is announced, and the date the tickets will be going on sale.

How do I get a ticket?

Tickets cost £50 in London and $70 in New York. Within that ticket you get drinks throughout the evening, and some light bites. It is always in a private space, with a maximum of 20 tickets available, so it’s a really intimate and special evening.

What if I don’t live in London or New York?

We hope to branch out to new cities in the future, but in the meantime the Substack is a great space to share your thoughts on the month book (or all books! We have a lot of different active threads).
